7- (un)Descriptive

Conscious hypocrite

At first I called this painting "Unconscious hypocrite"
But that made me conscious of my hypocrisy.

I don't always recycle.
"The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain"

An actress quoted this in an interview with Oprah.
It really struck a chord in me because I have experienced a lot of sadness.
But there have also been moments in my life where I can't stop smiling and there isn't a sad bone in my body.
Along with joy, gratitude fills that empty space because I am doing the best I can.
I think everybody is.

The feelings of loss
failure
and uncertainty are worth it.
Because my experience with joy and sadness will even out in the end.
